HANGER is a horrifying tale of revenge that begins with a back-alley abortion, and ends with a bloodbath so vicious that it brings a new meaning to ‘an eye for eye.’ From pimps to dealers and hookers to junkies, HANGER dives headfirst into the depths of human depravity.

A young psychiatrist interviews four inmates in a mental asylum to satisfy a requirement for employment. He hears stories about 1) the revenge of a murdered wife, 2) a tailor who makes a suit with some highly unusual qualities, 3) a woman who questions her sanity when it appears that her brother is conspiring against her, and 4) a man who builds tiny toy robots with lifelike human heads.

While traveling in a trailer through the desert to California, the retired detective Big Bob Carter stops in an isolated gas station with his family for fueling and rest. Bob is traveling with his wife Ethel, his son Bobby, his daughters Brenda and Lynn and his son-in-law and Lynn’s husband Doug and their daughter baby Katy. When they leave the gas station, the owner advises Bob to stay in the main road. However, the stubborn driver takes a shortcut through a nuclear testing site and wrecks his station wagon. With the family stranded in the middle of nowhere, Bob and Doug walk on the road trying to find some help. Bob is captured by an insane and sadistic member of a deranged evil family that lives nearby the spot. Doug returns to the trailer, and along the night the Carter family is attacked by a group of psychotic cannibal criminals. Absolutely trapped by the murderers, they have to fight to survive.

A high school student named Brett Bumpers receives a mysterious package one day. He does not know who gave it to him, but after a while he finds out that the totem within the package can give him 3 wishes. When the most beautiful girl in school, Samantha, invites him to dance on the next day, he knows for sure that his first wish has come true. He uses the second one to make Samantha fall in love with him, but when someone starts killing students in the school, he realizes that it has something to do with the totem. Now it’s his responsibility to save their lives.

The worms are back but this time in a prequel, set in 1889 Nevada as silver mines inspector Hiram Gummer, the great-grandfather of Burt Gummer, arrives in the small settlement of Rejection Valley and faces off against the so-called graboid worm monsters devouring the local inhabitants.

Sally Hardesty and her wheelchaired brother Franklin along with three friends travel to a cemetary where there have been grave robbings.To continue their trip, they pick a hitchiker. The hitchiker turns out to be crazy so they drop him off and proceed with the trip. They go to visit an old house where Sally and Franklins’ Grandfather used to live . One follows a trail from the back of the house and that’s when it all begins.

The first Franco/Erwin Dietrich effort is probably Franco’s most exploitive film with numerous sadistic scenes of torture and perversion. A true exploitation masterpiece that only a director like Franco could make. Maria (Lina Romay) is sentenced to prison for life for killing her father that attempted to rape. She is sent to a special section of the jail know for it’s cruel and sadistic treatment of prisoners. The wardress (Monica Swinn) is a sadistic lesbian who knows no mercy and takes pleasure in her job. Maria seduces a male nurse who she eventually kills in order to spring an escape from the hellhole. A must for all fans of sadistic WIP films and for Jess Franco addicts. Also stars Franco regulars Paul Muller, Martine Stedilm and Eric Falk.

Ilsa, now a vicious warden, runs a mental-hospital for young women. A girl deliberately “checks” in to the hospital to find out what has happened to her sister who stayed there. Meanwhile Ilsa and one of the guards are forcing the inmates to have sex with male prisoners, filming them and selling it as pornoflicks.
