After losing contact with its researchers on a remote island, a military corporation hires a group of scientists and soldiers to find out what went wrong. But when they arrive, the team quickly discovers that the weapons testing performed on the island has unleashed and powerful and deadly entity that will stop at nothing to destroy them all

A young psychiatrist interviews four inmates in a mental asylum to satisfy a requirement for employment. He hears stories about 1) the revenge of a murdered wife, 2) a tailor who makes a suit with some highly unusual qualities, 3) a woman who questions her sanity when it appears that her brother is conspiring against her, and 4) a man who builds tiny toy robots with lifelike human heads.

When pilot Hal Jordan accepts a mysterious, powerful ring from a dying alien creature, it transforms him into a Green Lantern - one of an elite force of heroes. These heroes patrol the universe to ensure peace and justice under the leadership of the Guardians of the Universe. Unsure of their newest recruit, the Guardians assign Hal to their most-honored Green Lantern Sinestro for training, unaware that Sinestro wants to overthrow the Guardians and create a new order he’ll control. It’s a battle of might and willpower as Hall must prove his worth by defeating Sinestro to save the Green Lantern Corps.

The worms are back but this time in a prequel, set in 1889 Nevada as silver mines inspector Hiram Gummer, the great-grandfather of Burt Gummer, arrives in the small settlement of Rejection Valley and faces off against the so-called graboid worm monsters devouring the local inhabitants.

Betrayed by his own political leaders and disgusted by the atrocities of this never-ending war, Hendricksson decides he must negotiate a separate peace with the New Economic Bloc’s decimated forces. But to do so, he will have to cross a treacherous wasteland where the deadliest threat comes from the very weapons he helped to create.

Burt Gummer returns home to Perfection, Nevada, from a trip to Argentina, where he wiped out a herd of Shriekers. Things are a little different in Perfection now — the community has become something of a tourist attraction because of a battle against Graboids about 11 years ago. Nancy Sterngood and her 22-year-old daughter Mindy still live in Perfection. Burt’s friend Miguel still calls Perfection home. Obnoxious Melvin Plug has moved into real estate, and he is now trying to build homes in Perfection. There are even Graboid comic books on the racks, and Safari Jack Sawyer takes families out on phony Graboid hunts for a few bucks. Burt’s pretty disgusted by the whole thing. The Graboids haven’t surfaced in Perfection since the battle from 11 years ago, but that hasn’t kept Burt from slacking off. His home is like a fort, completely Graboid proof and Shrieker proof. But after 11 years, the Graboids and Shriekers have returned, but this time there’s trouble. Government officials show up to protect the monsters, because Graboids are an endangered species. To further complicate things, the Shriekers evolve into a new kind of flying creature that can sense body warmth in much the same way the Shriekers can, and local store owner Jodi Chang, the niece of the late Walter Chang, calls them Ass Blasters. Burt unloads his arsenal of weapons to use against the monsters, and Jack and Jodi team up with him. But since these creatures can fly, and are each carrying a Graboid egg inside of it, Burt, Jack, and Jodi are going to have to watch every single step they take if they are going to stay alive long enough to stop the monsters.

The teenager Madison McBride is traumatized by the loss of her deranged father when she was nine years old and the suicide of her beloved brother Brandon one year ago. She decides to join the Richard Miller University, where Brandon committed suicide, to overcome her demons. While walking to her dorm, she meets the weird janitor Wilbur Mackey that tells her that the place is haunted. Madison befriends the recovering drug addicted Holt; the geek outcast String; the sexually abused Ivy and Maya; and the joker athlete Tommy. All the schoolmates have traumas and the veteran Rez is responsible for them. String discovers in Internet that in 1935, their dorm together with an attached abandoned section was an asylum administrated by Dr. Magnus Burke and considered a safe refugee for troubled teenagers with state-of-art treatment. However, in 1939, the interns uprose against the insane doctor, killing and disclosing the truth about his treatment. Sooner they find that their dorm is haunted by Dr. Burke that is seeking for tortured souls.

Two aliens who crash on Earth must find a buried weapon that will destroy the planet and their own society if not stopped.

Our underground monster-killing heroes from the original Tremors have split up. Soured that everyone else profited from Graboids-mania, ‘Fred Ward (I)’ (qv) “re-enlists” to battle a new breed of Mexican Graboids. This sequel pokes so much fun at its original plot, exaggerated characters, cheap explosions, and Graboid gore. Tremors I is a prerequisite.

In a dilapidated rural mansion, the last generation of the degenerate, inbred Merrye family lives with the inherited curse of a disease that causes them to mentally regress from the age of 10 or so on as they physically develop. The family chauffeur looks out for them and covers up their indiscretions. Trouble comes when greedy distant relatives and their lawyer arrive to dispossess the family of its home.
