Secret Passage Storyline

Three Jewish sisters, Isabel (Katherine Borowitz), Clara (Tara Fitzgerald), and Victoria (Hannah Taylor-Gordon), try to elude the flames of inquisition in this movie set in Spain, 1492. Being baptized by force, they were chased through the countries of the Christian world until they had reached Venice. Clara falls for Paolo Zane, a Venetian noble, while Isabel covertly organizes secret passages for emigrants fleeing the Inquisition. Istanbul where greater tolerance is shown to Jews can become a quiet harbor for sisters to take cover, but Clara doesn’t want to leave due to her romance.
